Info: The new integrated transport terminal in Bandar Tasik Selatan will begin operations on 1/1/2011. Terminal Bersepadu Selatan-Bandar Tasik Selatan (TBS-BTS) or the Integrated South-Bandar Tasik Selatan Transport Terminal is operated by MAJU Terminal Management and Services (TMAS).
It is located next to the existing Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT Station (Star LRT), the Stesen
Komuter KTM Bandar Tasik Selatan and Express Rail Link (ERL) KLIA Transit Station.
Designated city buses will also call at the station.
Unlike other older terminals, there is a proper external bus holding area to reduce traffic congestion and, importantly, prevent excessive fumes from reaching passengers at the boarding area.
The mammoth white building takes up approximately 49 acres with part of the complex
built over the titular lake. Designed like a modern airport, the bus terminal has six floors, 55 bus platforms, 150 taxi bays, 1,000 parking bays and 1,800 seats in spacious air-conditioned waiting halls. The train stations outside are connected by a long elevated covered walkway with escalators.
South-plying express buses currently operating from the Stesen Bas Sementara Bukit Jalil
(and previously Hentian Puduraya) will make TBS its permanant KL base. The new terminal is located off the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) and is also connected by a new road to the Sungai Besi Expressway (SBE).
Update: Effective 16th April 2011, northbound buses will operate from Puduraya again. The same buses will also call at Hentian Duta. The Bukit Jalil Temporary Bus Terminal will be closed.

Tak payah turun. From Puduraya, use LRT from Plaza Rakyat to PWTC Station. Then walk to Hentian Putra.

1. saya dan ramai yang lain keliru mana nak pergi (cari bas) selepas parkir di tingkat bawah tbs. tak ada sebarang panduan dan pegawai khidmat untuk membantu
2. sediakan lif dari parkir ke lobby utama di bangunan yang sama

Guna LRT ke Puduraya. Untuk soalan 2, tak pasti tapi jalan (kaki) ke hentian bas Klang dekat Central MArket dan tanya di sana.
Tiada hotel berdekatan. Guna LRT dari BTS ke Bukit Jalil.
kalau dah sampai TBS..apa hotel atau rumah tumpangan terdekat..dan bagaimana kalau mahu ke stadium bukit jalil..apa pengangkutan awam yg mudah dan berapa pula harganya..

Sorry, sir.. soon maybe the cars will grow quickly and will be effect to the traffic. So the design like that actually for soon traffic not to involve MRR2 traffic.Perhaps no more upgrading for soon budget cause all things now sulah naik woo.
If you are referring to Hotel Istana in Jalan Raja Chulan, it is not near. It is about 10 km away and the taxi fare should be around RM 20 metered. YMMV.

You can use the KTM Komuter from shah alam to KL and exchange the link to Seremban to the Bandar Tasik Selatan komuter station. from there is quite near to bus terminal.

Nak ke KEMAS di Jalan Syed Putra? Guna LRT ke bandaraya dan tukar kepada Monorail di Stesen Hang Tuah. Turun di Stesen Tun Sambanthan di Brickfields. Kemudian, guna jejantas yang menyeberangi Sungai Klang, ke Sekolah Kuen Cheng. Pusat Latihan KEMAS di sebelah sekolah ini.

I visited TBS at 1am last night to pick up somebody. I travel from Cheras. From the U-turn at the TBS entrance junction, I drive another 1/2 KM to U-turn back at the the sg besi LRT station. Then, enter the TBS entrance at MRR2, BUT, the road leading to the LObby was closed. I travel down another 1/2 km towards the entrance from Sg besi junction to u-turn back. driving another another 2 km to reach the Lobby !!!! What if its during peak hour?? Am I going to spend another 1/2 hr just to reach the TBS lobby ???
If we were to come from cheras, why didn’t they make an entrance road at the overhead U-turn at Tasik Selatan. Why do we have to drive further to U-turn back at another 500m – 1 km. What kind of planning is that??? Why construct TBS without thinking of giving prople more convinence ? The entrance point at MRR2 towards Cheras is just right at the U-turn. So, just join up the entrance to the U-turn. What is so difficult.

the security management system at the terminal is quiet tight to the extend not allowing any passengers to be accompanied by anybody (non-passengers) while waiting at the departure hall. This may cause inconvenience to some people. Do you agree?

Better not to use this terminal for a while. the system is poor. u cannot buy tickets from its counter. u have to buy at B. Jalil. it is a shame.
what is the point to have a bus hub like airport terminal but the system is very very poor.???

From Banting drive towards Telok Panglima Garang and on to Klang. Before Taman Botanic turn right into KESAS (Shah Alam Expressway) and drive all the way to Bukit Jalil. As you join the MRR2, TBS is on your left.

Yes. Scroll southwards on the map and you will see a big lake, a golf couse and the turf club.
I’m not sure which bus goes to Tropicana. There is no LRT to that area. If you arrive at BTS, you can take the LRT to the city and take a connecting bus from there. As for the JB bus, it depends on the bus company. It may even call at the soon to be opened Puduraya. Why not ask them before buying the ticket?

From Bandar Utama, use the LDP to get to KESAS and drive east until you past Bukit Jalil. As you enter MRR2, you will soon see the BTS Terminal on your left. There is a passenger pick-up (waiting) area.
If i am in Bandar Utama PJ and wants to drive there, what is the fastest route to take and do they have a phone number and can i drive the car right to the terminal entrance and wait? i only managed to find one map of its location and it’s at mycen!

AFAIK, northbound buses will continue to use Hentian Sementara Bukit Jalil and Hentian Duta. The proposed North ITT in Sungai Buloh is in the works and will interface with the new MRT lines. As such, it probably may not be ready until at least 2015. Another soon-to-be-ready ITT, the East Integrated Transport Terminal (Terminal Bersepadu Timur) at Gombak will handle buses from the East coast.
What about buses to Northern states? Sharing the same Bus terminal?
