Dong Zen 2011 - Let The Light Show Begin!
Info: The Fo Guang Shan (FGS 馬來西亞佛光山) Dong Zen Buddhist Temple will once again be transformed into a magical wonderland this Chinese New Year. Their annual CNY Lantern & Flora Festival will again attract thousands of devotees and tourists to little Jenarom town. Like previous years, FGS Dong Zen will feature events such as a CNY Countdown Gala, cultural shows, costume parades, calligraphy display, Dharma talks and more.
Persatuan Meditasi Fo Guang Shan Selangor is located at Jenjarom, somewhere between Banting and Klang town. To drive there from KL/PJ, it is advisable to use the westbound KESAS Highway and exit at the Pandamaran (Klang/Banting) interchange. From there, head southwards to Telok Panglima Garang and turn left at the Pulau Carey roundabout.
The 2011 CNY Lantern & Flora Festival at FGC Dong Zen is from 1st February to 20th February 2011. Opening hours are from 10:30 am to 10:00 pm. Admission and parking on officially designated areas are both free.
