Shaw Parade
Info: Built in the early 1980s, Shaw Parade in Pudu was named after the defunct Shaw Cinema that once anchored the shopping complex. Coincidentally, it is also located across the former Shaw Road (now Jalan Hang Tuah). The mall’s current principal tenants are Eu Yan Sang, Purple Cane Tea Restaurant and Restoran Hee Lai Ton.
Shaw Parade received a makeover not too long ago and there were recent efforts to stage some arts and cultural events there. The area is a gourmet’s paradise (for Chinese food) and there are also an abundance of hotels due to its proximity to Bukit Bintang. Another shopping mall, Pudu Plaza, is located close-by.
