    I know lovely Anna L. Ettlin (@anleet on IG) who resides in the city that is in the canton of Zürich in northern Switzerland, It brought back some vague memories for me as I visited the city a long time ago in winter. Everything was white. Winthertur has many cultural and art attractions such as museums.

    Like A Phoenix Rising From Ashes.

    When Phoenix Plaza Shopping Mall in Cheras closed down around 2011. there was much speculation that the the mall was being renovated to become a MRT station. Probably due to timing and its location on the proposed train route that made speculations rife. It didn’t turn out as rumoured. It became the Silka Hotel Cheras among other development. I saw yesterday that it was in front of the new Connaught MRT Station on way to Kajang.

    You learn from your customers all the time. There is a new budget hotel that was booked via MyCen Hotels recently. Could not figure out the location until I looked at the map. It is facing the junction of Jalan Peel, near the Buddha Jayanti Temple. Not mentioned officially but it means it is very near Queen’s coffee shop, Ikea Cheras and Pudu Market. The well appointed room are only RM 75 each. Free wi-fi and easy parking too.

    Recommend it to a friend visiting KL, looking for an affordable and decent hotel. Good place to chill out if you come out of TREC/Zouk wobbling. Caution: It is not safe to walk at 3 or 4am because roads are narrow and traffic dangerously fast.

    It is a chain hotel with many locatoions and searching can be confusing, Here is the link to book:
