Zoo Negara’s free-flying Painted Storks with a Mountain Goat

Info: Zoo Negara or the National Zoo of Malaysia is managed by the Malaysian Zoological Society. Opened in 1963, Zoo Negara is located on the original 110 acres of lush green land in the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. Currently, Zoo Negara has over 5000 specimen from over 470 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fishes. Over the years, Zoo Negara has gradually transformed itself to an ‘open concept’ zoo where many of its animals are kept in spacious enclosures, blending with the natural landscape.

Opening Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily
